    M101A3 Cargo Cover Question

I'd love to see how you modified the bows... I've been thinking about doing the same thing.

    M101A3 Cargo Cover Question

My brand new in the box M105 cover is the same way... just looks a tad bit sloppy... its probably a design feature 😅

What did you do to your trailer today.

Man that looks great! Good job! You'll love how it pulls.

    M105a2 aftermarket tongue jack

Yes, I got an aftermarket 2" receiver (a "good" one) and welded it to the bottom of the plate

    M105a2 aftermarket tongue jack

Sure thing... I welded a 2" receiver to the plate - which covers the whole A-frame section under the lunette housing. It does cut off access to the safety chain bolts though. The hitch is a Bullet Proof brand Extreme Duty 12" drop hitch. It's WAAAY overkill, as it's rated for 12,000#, but...

Here's what I did - Custom welded a 3/8" plate to mount a power lift jack.

    M105A2 Bleeder Valve thread/size?

    For anyone that's interested, it's a 7/16-20.

    M105A2 Bleeder Valve thread/size?

Does anyone know what the thread is on the brake bleeder valve for the M105? I'm missing one. I thought I'd ask just in case, before I headed out to the local auto store to see if I can find a match. This is my last step in converting to converting to electric-over-hydrolic - fill the pump...

2020 TX MV Rally at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch

Well, any excuse to get out and do some camping is always good for me, so I'd be up for it if there were at least a few other folks willing to head out.

2020 TX MV Rally at the Brazos Valley Off-Road Ranch

Well {darn]. I'm was looking forward to getting together and meeting all of you folks and seeing your MV toys! But prudence is the wiser choice here. Stay safe out there, and I look forward to whenever we can reschedule!

What did you do to your trailer today.

Well, another great trailer project weekend! I got my 2" receiver welded on and painted, and installed an old electric tongue jack! The drop hitch is a little long, I'll probably swap it out for an 8" drop instead of the 12" pictured. I also got the wiring all squared away. I put in a...

What did you do to your trailer today.

Please be careful! I should have taken the safety chain bolts off - they almost split the wood backer! And I'm sure you know, but make sure the chain through the lunette ring is rated appropriately! Then it's soak with penetrating oil, heat, bang, and repeat! Good luck!

What did you do to your trailer today.

Today was a great trailer day! I finally got my lynette out! Whew what an effort! The first battle was the castle nut... stubborn bugger... went thru a couple wrenches (I couldn't for the life of me find a 1.5" to fit... finally found a 1 ⁹/16 12-pt) but ruined a perfectly good 6' section...

Source for custom M105 Canvas Top?

Do you still possibly have that cover? If you'll check and let me know - I'm gonna try and make it to the Texas Rally in March!
