First off love the thread keep it up, I look forward to your updates. Your fabrication skills continually impress me and i really like the ease of fill of that fresh water fill port. Would be cool if the air bags in the rear could individually and possibly automatically adjust to the 1600 pounds...
I have been following this thread for sometime now and I still think you have the best looking lmtv. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see more progress pics. FYI I am copying a lot of your details and design on the cab interior.

No not yet but I have plans to reinforce it soon. Just going to be a simple metal backing plate with nuts welded onto it. This was just a test fit to check for height.

Looks like great minds think alike. We started working on installing some electric heated mirrors off a MRAP. Also had to insert an EZ LOK into the transmission pan since one of the test ports was stripped out and it was steadily dripping out oil. This week we will be doing one of a few oil...

I used terminals that were the Military style from Grainer. The cables that had to be replaced were all off other LMTVs.

I am currently working on a 1997 m1078 with a cat 3116 and a wtec II transmission controller. When I flip on the master power switch, the lights illuminate as they should but when I press the starter button it sounds like the starter begins to turn over but then all of the lights/power go out...
Yes I would be interested. My truck still doesn’t have door handles and this kit is much cheaper than getting the parts direct from styer.
