    That is the way the army received the 3116 motors . There is a filter in between the pump and the injectors.

    The pre filter is the yellow filter in the pic. The military had it bypassed but the housing was still.there so I basically just re plumbed it back into the system

    Still in prototype but seems to work well at all speeds, and trail conditions. Cost to me so far has been less than $500. Compared to $6000 plus for real slant back.

    Agreed for an 30 year old truck they do great I love mine and use them as much or more than most, but the electrical system is the weak point . most of wich runs through One fuse!!!

    This started as needing a transmission for my 1009 i was going to sreel the one frm the 1031 then put in a 700 in its place. With all the mods and the fact i will be towing heavy boats im not sure the 700is worth the trouble or as durable.
