I used the pump and reservoir from a mid 60's C60 dump truck. Has a Saginaw power steering box. I bought the pitman arm and steering shaft from "Waterloo equipment" if you have any ?'s... Binnalljr at yahoodotcom
Never had a problem shifting.
Was smoke coming out from below the truck when pulling.
No on oil dripping from hole. I have read that these fingers are adjustable. Loosen the two nuts and turn center
This weekend I put my deuce in a fair truck pull. When done, I let the clutch pedal out and it didn't move.
Next morning still wouldn't move. I adjusted the linkage and was able to get it to move and drive it home. I saw the throw out bearing was wanting to spin. Adjusted linkage a bit more and...
I took it off and opened it up.
Looked fine inside.
Saw no decoloration of the contacts.
In mine I ran a separate ground to the steering column.
Looked like was rusty , so I sanded it put it back together and worked as it should.
I also to the new blinker unit off and put the old one on and...
My turn signals quit.
I replaced the flasher.
Then noticed a small amount of smoke coming from the switch.
Also heard a click under the dash I'm assuming was a relay tripping.
Can the switch be cleaned?
Have not taken it apart yet.
Or
Does it need replaced.
Has any one ever used a aftermarket...
Is there any tips and secret info to installing a m35 trans mission?
I have it up in close.
But just can't seam to get the pilot bearing and splines lined up.

I bought the main shaft.
Front shaft and the rollers from
Memphis equipment.
Pricey YES.
But they have it and it's in it way already.
Everything else looks good.
Truck always has shifted smooth.
So when I replace the mentioned above I'm thinking it will be just fine.
Well here's what I found.
The transmission is out.
The actual bearings seam good.
Very little if any movement. The 14 loose rollers look like hex nuts...
the end of the shaft that rides on them is shot.
Where can I get a new shaft and rollers?
Let me start by saying it's a 1987 M35A2C..
Again I checked all the fluids.
Greased all the drive line.
Went for a ride.
Very rattely in 3rd and 5th under a load.
Drop to 4 and put it under load and no more rattle?
Synchronizer bad?
Is there something 3/5 share .and not 4?
All the rear drive line is new.
I have no rusty u joints. All bolts are tight. No play in any joints. I'm leaning towards the rear drive shaft out of balance. More fuel more noise. As I ease off the fuel noise level drops. Feels much smoother. Next I'm taking rear drive shaft out, put...
