6" Skyjacker i'm pretty sure the previous owner is the one who put the lift and 37" tires on it.

Though I am no expert it sounds like a bad ground to me also.

I must say i'm not an oil guru by any means but I do know that at work we put 890,000 miles on a cat running nothing but Rotella T. And Since I can get it cheap through work that is what I'm going to run. P.S. We sold that truck in 2000 and it is still being used as a wrecker.

Thanks for the warm welcome fellas. I can tell its going to be addictive I have quite a lot of plans for this truck in the long run as it will be little toy.

It's just welded to the bumper at some point in the future I will put a real tow hitch on though.
