    Door Handle Lever Printed (LMTV)

Still works. Been abusing it, but I dont have an ISO standard salt spray test or whatever for equivalent. Just texas summer and use. I would file it under "this is an excellent option for anyone who isnt an originalist. Anyhow, been busy arranging a 1082 to be it's buddy for a song and a...

The image is a little misleading on the layer question. Its got full length grain, for lack of a better term. It hasnt failed yet, but I dont use the passenger door all that much anyhow. Ill post if and when it does for sure though.

    FMTV Lug Nuts

Ill get a quote from the retired English officer who was running part of the sealy BAE plant next time Im out at my farm and he rides by on a horse.

Intent and final result vary, but the point was drive train and other components. Things that wear out and needs to be replaced an readily sourced.

Exactly. They built these to share common components with commercial vehicles so they would not run in to the previous problems related to aftermarket supply of parts. But sometimes it's a bit obtuse.

    FMTV Lug Nuts

Digging in to this, I think this is useful, these being a non-metric item on the vehicle. All the mirror and door hardware is metric. There are quite a few places you can obtain these if you know the correct flat to flat, stud diameter, and threads per inch, which I sorted out per above...

Perfect, thanks. Manual and such is over 10,000 pages all together, I just want to be able to move the it to my farm.

So driver side. Are the passenger side right hand? Lest we get into port and starboard.

    FMTV Lug Nuts

I was missing a few. So I found the main lug nuts are 3/4"-16 x 1-1/2" x 7/8" (Diameter - thread x flats x depth) The lug nut around the air system is a 1-1/8"-16 x 1-1/2" x 7/8" (same as above). Anything Im missing?

    LMTV Interior door handles

Since this is related, if anyone is feeling lazy and cheap, or in a bind, Doorman (heh) part# 775-5502 is 15 bucks off amazon and fits the windows and door handles. You need to drill out the door handle hole on the interior panel to 3/4" min. The bolt is an M6-1 x 22mm flat head for the...

    Door Handle Lever Printed (LMTV)

Its installed and works just fine. So I guess time will tell for how long. I printed the final unit out of solid PLA. I'm being positive minded here and hoping the increased flexibility and quality (versus the brittle and porous nature of pot metal) will give this guy a lifespan long enough...

    Door Handle Lever Printed (LMTV)

#4-40 x 3/4" bolt w nylon lock nut (so it doesnt need to be torqued down to hold and risk cracking the seat). Seems to work just fine. Fit in place in the truck, opens the door fine. You could use a #6, but you would need to tap the bottom part of the seat.

    LMTV Interior door handles

That's perfect thanks! If anyone is ever curious, you can always just pull the window reel handle off and it works as a door handle instead.

    LMTV Interior door handles

Nobody wants to say "hey, its about this long" even? Allright, Ill do my own bidirectional unit. If you ever want to know why there are passenger and driver side versions for these things, its not about cost, its about the guys on the floor and the guys who run them being too stupid to...

    Door Handle Lever Printed (LMTV)

There are a number of low/no ash filaments now that can be run through a conventional 3d pringer for people who really want to do an investment casting of something because they dont like plastic. Wax filaments if you want to go jewelry grade. Im fairly happy with "test run" right now just...
