I wish I had taken pictures of when I first got it. I didn't. I have been working on it for almost 2 years. There was a lot of mechanical work to do.

Thanks for the replies Your replies are helpful. What confuses me is the -20 says to apply sealant to the flat side, but the groove is round at the bottom. It looks to me that the round side of the gasket would be sealed into the groove, leaving the flat surface up to press against the cowl...

Does anyone have a picture of a correctly installed cowl vent weatherstrip. The "-20" instructions don't match up with the weatherstrip I have.

Thanks a lot. I guessed it should be open, but couldn't figure out why there was a valve at all.

Mine has a screw valve above the master cylinder. The "-20" mentions it but doesn't say how to use it.

Is the vent line valve above the master cylinder normally open or closed?
