    Dump Conversion

if you where to add the Quick connects you should try to get ahold of the tool kit off a SEE truck. They have a hydro impact, chainsaw, jackhammer...and a few other goodies that I cant quite recall.

    Observations in Flat Towing

I think I rember something about this in PS magazine and I think it is a problem related to the sprague<sp>. I had this happen more than once when I was a wrecker operator and in a hurry so I didn't lift the front end.....when it did happened I would just just lift the front end and I rember the...

    Wiring up stuff (lights)

    Winching, Recovery and Field Expediants

Of course operateing enviroment has a lot...

    Winching, Recovery and Field Expediants

there are also many thoughts on how to maintain your cable and tackel. If I rember correctally the TM's and and FM's call for GAA on the winch cable to prevent corrison. The main preoblem I gave found with this is any heavy grease you apply to a winch cable tends to hold dirt and grit in the...

    Axle leak

you know....you dont need to actually seperate the tires from the hub, to save yourself some time remove the axel.....remove the outer lock nut..... jack up the axel just far enough to get a " grease pig" (grease pig is anything that can greased up and used to slide the tire/hub combo...

Where to find 20ft. 2 pin slave cable?

as long as you have good connector's you can make yourself a 20 footer. The ends of the slave cable are actually repairable and you could easily extend an 11FT set by replaceing the cable. There is also an adapter available to adapt the newer style slave cable to the older 2 pin recpticle if it...

    Replacing Deuce Clutch

it's not difficult to do, it's actually easier getting to the bellhousing bolts than on most civilian vehicles, just make sure you have an alignment tool for the disc!!!!! save yourself a lot of time and pain.
