Thanks for the advice tennmogger. Trying to weigh all the options and haven't ruled out getting a tractor and a pickup (or maybe a MOG or MV). The road to the ranch we are buying is tough and includes fording creeks two to three (+) feet deep. Only four miles long though . Thanks again

I thank UNIMOG-GUY for responding to my post "MV for ranch" on the "conversations" section to tell me about these amazing vehicles. Is it possibly to procure a fully functioning one for 20K or less? I'm finding a number of them in the 30-50K level but that is too much green for me.

I'm debating whether to try to pick up an FMTV for our ranch. Anybody own one in California? Challenges in our state with registration and smog?
