Winch controller wiring questions on M998; three wires - black, white and green - need help

Anyone here a winch wiring expert? My 1986 M998 has a factory installed Warn 6,000lb winch. The controller was cut off at some point and I want to get it working again. I have a black wire, green wire and white wire coming from the winch control module on the winch. I would assume this...

This fell off my starter - do I need a new starter?

So I have been working on my new to me M998. I am in the process of making all new battery cables and clean off the connector. When removing the power cables from the starter this fell off. Its the clear the stud on the solenoid is roasted. Im assuming I need a new starter.

What am I doing wrong? Why does my ignition start switch handle not line up?

So I just pulled the switch and looked it up. First google result says its for a M998. But when you dig in its for an Oshkosh M809.

Is this a KDS Smart start system protective box?

I bought what I was told was a KDS smart start protective box and matching temp sensor. Was told its all new in box. I guess I was expecting the label to actually say KDS like all the pictures. Is there a way to tell? I know I can call and ask them but wanted see what 3rd parties would say.

What are the best rear seat support trays? Outside of drilling out the rivets and puting in a new base to get rid of the trays.

correct. The newer style are much thicker, dont have the braces (the seat is self supporting I guess) and the clamp in the back is a single piece moved to the middle to account for the seat bolts.

What am I doing wrong? Why does my ignition start switch handle not line up?

I dumped the keyed ignition and bought what was supposedly an OEM one. The run position is not clocked right. Am I missing something?

What are the best rear seat support trays? Outside of drilling out the rivets and puting in a new base to get rid of the trays.

What are the best rear seat support trays? Outside of drilling out the rivets and putting in a new base. I saw that the A1 models had thicker support trays. My 86 has some broken pieces on the support trays so I am looking for new ones. I have seen some aftermarket ones from Midwest Military...
