One easy way is to have the bolts on the back plate loose and reach in from the bottom with a bent hack saw blade. Hold the rod back with the blade and slide pump in place. Once all bolts are in and holding good pull the blade and tighten everything. Did it like this on mine a few days ago...
Dick Cepek Fun Country tires are great! Not loud and they do excellent in snow, mud and sand.
Nitto Mud Grapplers are excellent for anything you put in front of them. They don’t wear very fast but they are LOUD!!!!!!
So instead of being an adult and remembering how to operate your vehicle they just hard wire the lights? That’s hilarious! When a Humvee is to complicated for you to remember how to operate you shouldnt drive!
There was a big discussion on registering your vehicle in a state you don’t live in a while back. Sounds like a great idea till you get pulled over and your address on your license and insurance doesn’t match the state where the vehicle supposedly is from and registered.
Do you want to have a conversation at normal volume with your passengers? Don’t get a Humvee. Do you ever need to hurry or speed to get someplace that you are late to? Don’t get a Humvee. Do you like being told by mechanics and parts shops they can’t help you or it will cost a TON? Don’t buy a...

I pulled all the shims out on mine and it’s pretty close to straight with a little bit of positive camber still. Made a huge difference in how the tires wear.
If mine is not plugged in and has been sitting all night long in 0° to 20° weather my glow plugs usually run for 10 to 12 seconds. Very rarely I will see 15 seconds. If it is plugged in I have to crank it over once then let the glow plugs cycle. The warm coolant from the heater makes the temp...
Does it somehow damage stuff to shut the lights/accessories off first? I usually always pull up to the house and shut off my lights and heater fan and let the Humvee run while I gather up my stuff and shut it off as I get out. Is that hard on my S3 box? I just assumed it was letting my battery...
I forgot to disconnect my battery one time when messing with the PCB and when I reconnected the plug under the dash it made the inside of my PCB look identical to yours inside! Check to make sure you have 24v at the center hole of the top plug for the PCB. Also make sure you DON’T have 24v at...
Put a new set of tires on the Humvee yesterday. While I had the tires off I drained the hubs and filled them with fresh oil. One of the tires I got had water in it so I had to take the rim off and vacuum the water out. Also swapped the wheel out for an old one I had in better condition. The...
