M747 Manual Needed
I have always thought the M747's were just plain sexy. Fortunately I haven't been able to think of an excuse.....errr, reason to own one, cause that would mean also having to buy a truck that could pull it. Anyone know of a smaller, but similar-looking trailer that would work behind a 5-ton... -

How much should I offer for this Deuce?
I'd think you could get maybe $150-200 for the hard top, if it's solid. Better get it before some rock crawler buys it for the axles and throws that motor on its lid on a concrete floor.....but I'd do a little negotiating on that price...;) -

Only one obvious hole in your theory that I could see - the "dig out under the flat tire (would only work if flat was an outside tire)" part.......ask any field service tire guy - the inside dual is the only one that ever fails......the odds of an outside tire failing are lower than the odds of...- DMgunn

I am going for more flotation with my M139 - want to retain the original wheels and go with wider radials - specifically the 15.50s or 46s that are pretty common out there, or possibly 16.00s. I know a couple years ago I saw a pic of a bridge truck with no bed that was dualled up with 16.00s...- DMgunn
