    Some before and after fun, I started on this project 2 years ago. The body was un-cut, but rusted badly and beat to ****. About 20 % of the sheet metal is new. Welding, patches in 19 different spots. Got paint at the convention and some good weather here in SC to splash it on.

    took a closer look and answered my own question. The tube at the end feeds oil to the rocker shaft, the tube in the middle I think is the path for oil back to the pan. Anyone looking at the oil flow from these tubes to the rocker shaft, remember the hole in the rocker shaft needs to line up...

    great advise, Sleeve sounds good, I was just trying to envision what happens to pitting over time, does each power stroke work the hole bigger, would it last 10,000? 2000? I dont have much direct experience here

    I am servicing my 3 speed and transfer in the M38. What gear oil is everyone' favorite? I have used sae80-90 over the years, and have run some purple synthetic in the m38a1. advise?

    Work under way on the exposed parts of the body this shows replacement of damaged area of wheel fairing. Used a vicegrip flanging tool to make the flange. New Side panels, more picture on the website if you are interested.

    diference between transfer cases on WC's

    Is the transfer case for the WC 62 different than that of the WC 51. 1 1/2 ton vs the 3/4 ton? Particularly, is the gear ratio the same, are both 2 speed?
