hi all. I broke the rear differential of my 86 m998 sent it to rebuild. And at the same time thinking to myself should I upgrade the ratio of both front and rear . From 2:56 to 3:08 ? Would that be a good way to go ?

I ended up ordering the stock once. From hummer parts guy and ordered a set of arp from jegs

The cometic is the only one that fit, anything else that sell looks like it made for different heads. just attached them both that you can see the difference. That is another thing I didn’t expect, two different kind of gaskets🤦🏻‍♂️

Unfortunately I don’t have the old one anymore. Didn’t realize it will be that difficult to get a replacement

Hi to answer your question. Yes the truck start and run with the cb-2 disconnected but the brake light and the wait light won’t turn on at all ( I guess due to the fact that the cb2 disconnected). But it start and run

Quick question. Could a bad glow box control cause a short? Just out of curiosity?

I agree that’s what I am trying to do now what am I looking for besides possible short ?
