    m37 fuel tank

Have you contacted Bill Lammers in Ocala, Florida? He posted a topic on g741.org in the Swap Meet section that he's disposing of his sizeable collection of parts, and he specifically listed fuel tanks.

    wiring questions

Broncorick, that "L" shaped terminal is an attachment bracket for an unused Douglas connector. There is likely no pin on the male half of the connector (the half attached to the "L" bracket), so it doesn't connect the circuit to ground. You'll usually find one of these "L" bracket dead ends...

    Ok lets talk Gasoline

Do you use the premium because it's the only grade available without ethanol, or is there another reason for choosing a higher octane?

    PTO lever

Interesting looking lower lever section on that PTO. Maybe something from a civilian Power Wagon or an XM708 dump truck to allow for a double-ended PTO?

Not a 440, but it is an LB big block Chrysler: http://www.g741.org/PHPBB/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=7226

    Rear Motor Mounts

Take a look at Fig. 90 on page 177 of TM9-8030 (May 1955). There's an exploded view of the pieces that make up the rear engine mount (which is actually a bell housing mount, as the engine is only directly supported at the front).

I'll let him know I'm in for two (since I can't seem to find the one I think I have).

Much appreciated! You're welcome. And I haven't given up on finding that fording exhaust bracket.

MWO 2320-212-20/2 Replacement of 45 Amp Hour Batteries with 100 Amp Hour Batteries

Glad that TB will be of help. Please post some photos of the conversion when you're done. 8-) Since I've been contemplating the 100amp alternator modification, I was wondering where you sourced your kit from? All in one group, or did you have to obtain the individual parts from different...

MWO 2320-212-20/2 Replacement of 45 Amp Hour Batteries with 100 Amp Hour Batteries

Storm, I have a paper copy of TB 9-2320-212-20-2 if that's what you're looking for. I can scan it and email it to you tomorrow night.

    Marine M37 build

Likely a part number or die number by the frame manufacturer, Midland Steel Products in Detroit/Cleveland.

    Marine M37 build

I can't find a supplier code in the ORD 9 SNL for the body tub, so it might have been assembled in house by Chrysler. The only other likely candidates would be Briggs or Budd, but Briggs doesn't appear in the list of suppliers in the front of the SNL for the G-741 vehicles. As for Fisher Body...

    What are these

Roller is correct. These are oil drain baffles and they go in the tappet galleries, behind the stamped steel covers with the thumb screws. The hat points up, into the tappet gallery. I'm not certain if these are unique to the T245 engine (which is pictured), but I can't find them in the...
