    Vortex Shmortex '77 M880

This is my 1977 Dodge M880. I've had it for a few years of mostly sitting and piddling around with it. As you can see, it was utilized by a fire department before me. They used it for field brush fires so it had a water tank in the rear. I sold that, rebuilt the carb, put in new rear wheel...

Looking for advice on a possible build

I have a 1977 m880 that I am considering making into a summer time camping vehicle in MN. I'd like to do some mild off-roading while keeping it reasonably reliable and able to put a few miles on it. 1. Rims. I plan on swapping from stock rims to a 16" so it's easier to source tires as well as...

I'm over in Maplewood. I need to start looking for some one in the Midwest with a bed for a deuce. Mine is all cut up!

I actually totally lucked out. The guys who had the truck didn't maintain them any more. I got 2 fuel filters, 2 oil filters, an air filter, and 2 batteries from the guys!

I'm an idiot and don't know how to post from my phone haha. I made it home, but went back to work the next day. I'll be posting some pics here soon. Thanks for all the advice everyone!

We had it wrapped up pretty good but all the rain and ice undressed her pretty quickly haha

But gosh darn it I'm having a blast. I purchased a 1987 M35a2c out of Bradenton FL and am driving it ~1700 miles back to St. Paul MN. It's a hard cab but the frame for the right windshield is pretty eaten up and there's still plenty of air flowing through the cab. I struggled my way the first...

M35A2C from Just south of Tampa FL to Saint Paul MN

Thanks for the info. I'm thinking I'll try driving and if I break down (mechanically or mentally) I'll look at shipping.

M35A2C from Just south of Tampa FL to Saint Paul MN

Was wondering if any shippers could give me an idea of a price to get a deuce from benedenton FL to Saint Paul. Time line would be picking up in the next couple weeks and dropping it off in what ever reasonable time it would take. It supposedly runs but needs to be jumped. For the purposes of...

Newbie from the Twin Cities! Soon to take a treck from FL to MN. Wish me luck!

Hello all! I decided to join SS after looking at the website multiple times and finally taking the plunge into the world of deuce ownership. I currently have a 1977 M855 that was a small municipalities fire truck until recently. It's a bit of a turd but hauls the dirt bike no problem. I...
