Noted. I was a user of these, not a maintainer operator...so my knowledge is like a half millimeter deep. It has been flawless until today. I am very, very grateful. Not even sure when our power is coming back on, everything is leveled here. I got my starlink terminal or I would be flat...
Brother I owe you a beer. Did that and it fired right up... So, I am guessing I have a fault to run down? Wow...what a relief. This has been insane and I just didn't need this right now.

I have a newer 802, have had it probably three years, never given me an issue. Used it extensively during Idalia and Debbie both.
Just over 100 hours, changed the oil yesterday. Ran fine yesterday, ran fine this morning. Went to tarp up a friends house, came back to it not running (wife...
Thanks, for the ideas. Noodling through how I want to do this. I live out in the woods, and any noise is...noticeable. During our extended hurricane outages, I don't want a big bright X painted on my house because we are chugging along making power. We already adhere to light...
I have a new to me MEP 802A, 2011 model that has 20 hours on it. I cannot find anything indicating that it was depot rebuilt...I am somewhat familiar with the process on the Marine Corps side of things having spent my adult life in the gun club...so, pretty sure this is a 2011 model that sat...
Yeah, sorry for the delay. My daggone Gator crapped out on me, and I am forced to walk until I can figure out what the heck made it just stop running....any good with Yanmar motors?
I will snap a pic when I am over that part of my compound.
Stopped by a hydraulic shop today...got a 10' length of 3/8th hose with a pressed on fitting for 36 bucks...fits like a charm, and I can now modify the open end to do whatever I need...and can modify it when I need to.
No, it has a pipe type opening with a cap cover. In a pinch I could use a 55 Gal since that is what I use to haul fuel to the house now. I was hoping this would be an easy thing....never is.
I want to add external fuel...have been all over the manuals, and one...cannot nail down for sure which is the fitting, and two cannot find anything via the NSN's that I am guessing are it.
Has to be a standard AN fuel fitting...
Help?
Thanks
