I know this is way late to get too many people interested, but here's a bit of a plug. We are having an airshow this weekend at the Air National Guard base here in Fort Wayne Indiana. If you live here in town, you already know this as we've had aerial smoke writing all over town and some crazy...

Yip, this is the place...don't use their search feature because it's not up to date. I called them and they were extremely helpful. They did say that they MIGHT even be able to just sell the double lip oil seal, but most likely you're going to need the lock ring that comes in the kit as mine...

And the new O-ring kit has arrived for the mechanical booster pump...bench checked good following the same procedures as above and tomorrow it will be installed! I do have a video of the "good" bench check, but of course no leaking fluid is the bottom line right?! My source for the seal kit...

I actually picked up some oem nsn seals. The rotating gear wasn't scored so a pliable new seal should work great. I'll update when I get it and I can do a new bench check!

Well...after some searching, I now have a new seal assembly in the mail. We'll see how well my pump does with some new seals...hopefully this fixes the leak!!

After going through all of the possible areas on my multifuel M35A2 trying to figure out where the truck was leaking fuel into the crankcase, I finally figured it out. I had done the FDC bypass, replaced the 3 seals in the hydraulic head and shut down lever, didn't have the flame heater on the...

What would be the diagnostics in figuring out that one of your injectors is dumping fuel? I've too done the FDC bypass, replaced all 3 HH o-rings, don't have a flame heater and my truck starts immediately and runs PERFECTLY...it just makes about 10 gallons of oil after 500 miles!! oh, I also...

Well, as it turned out mack, I was kinda feeling the same way. I didn't have anyone down that way I knew that would be able to give me even a 75% roadworthy thumbs up, so I decided to ship. It sucks I didn't get to do the adventure part of it though but at least it'll be safer in the long run...
