My M920 heat isnt working properly, in that the fan works fine but the air is not warm. I drove it 50 miles this weekend, but there was no difference in the duct temperature the entire time.
Where should I start looking first?
Here is where the light is, look for the black arrow just right of the rpm needle. These units are rated with a top speed of 55 mph I believe, my light starts flickering at 50. I suppose I will have to drive it and see at what speed the transmission deactivates.
The small red light on the tachometer/speedometer gauge (near the top) came on around 50 mph and 1900 RPM, was flickering, clearly I wasnt pushing her too hard, want to make sure the light isnt a problem because she sure settled down in 16th at this speed and it felt like she could do much more...
When shifting into 16th gear, at highway cruising speeds, a red light flickered in the top of the dash gauge, the one for speed and engine speed. What does the light indicate? I was about 2000 RPM.
My m818 without modification gets 6.3 miles per gallon, pulling an empty ten ton trailer. Speed with trailer is 55-56 mph on generally flat ground, slows to 50mph on hills that are not very steep or long.
