I am in the process of rebuilding my transmission. (3053 multi-fuel w/pto). I am reassembling the main shaft after cleaning all the parts and am drawing a blank. I am at the point where I need to put the synchronizer sleeve (pictured part: H) back on and the image in the TM shows it facing, what...
I did a quick video covering the the key ingredients of of removing the transmission, since I have yet to see one or a write up of how to do it. I will try to do a write up if I have enough images to do so. If I forgot something please add to with a comment. I used my XJ's winch as my pulley...

Hello friends! I was driving home from moving into my new house. I came back unloaded thru the mountains and decided I would coast down the long steep grade rather than ride the trans down. Well I thought I was going slow enough to pop it back in to gear. Apparently I wasn't and it made a minor...
I just did mine with A3 wheels and 14R20 Michelin's.
As for:
I believe its 50ft/lbs for the inner a 200ft/lbs for the outer.
I will also leave this here for others wanting guidelines for flipping hubs: http://www.xm381.com/xm381/How_To/Pages/Hub_Flip.html
