I there a difference in pressure between the older 6.2 v belt pumps and the newer serpentine belt types with the reservoir on the of the engine? I am doing an engine swap and don't want to blow out any parts. Can't really find any useful info on the subject though.
Still looking for the mounting plate, relay and breaker that go behind the passenger seat. Need the TCM and housing and still looking for an A2 6.5 N/A/4L80e body harness. Of course, when the parts start flying, I am sure I will run into other stuff and still waiting on my shifter from AMG.
So it won't hurt it to run it to get it on a trailer then? That is good news. I still have a few parts to source but wanted to get the project started.

I am installing a 4L80e in my M998 and it is going to go in stages. First is get the trans in the truck and hook up the drivelines, hoses and shifter. The second will be getting the electronics hooked up. The question is, can you move it with all of the electronics disconnected? I ask because...
The part number is 12339961-2 . If your tailgate uses them, there will be 2 little holes in it that the rubber nipples seat in. Hummerpartsguy.com had them for $1.02 each. The M998 parts listing lists a different type of pad. Maybe my tailgate was swapped out at some point, who knows.
