Actually I am looking for locks and just got a response back from
http://www.chassisking.com/
and they have all kinds of locks.
I am looking for a drawing that shows hole locations in all four corners and X measurements to assure square holes.
I want a deck over to haul POVs, material etc...
I saw a 20 ft Conex container being delivered a few weeks back from a commercial deck over trailer and it as secured by the special locks (can't remember name of them) used on trucks, ships etc.
I have this idea that I need a dove tail trailer with 8X20 deck and dovetail on the back so I can...
More intel, was tapping on it here and there in the dark tonight and spotted a data plate. It says American M.A.R.C MC2 Inglewood, California.
I now have 1/8" movement in the lever that says Lift to Run. Best I can determine the hold up now is linkage that runs down the top of the engine to...
It has a starter which I am sure will be 28 volt. I just want to turn the engine over a couple hundred times to make sure everything is loosened up before I try and crank it. I will probably but Eds Red in crank case to give it a good flush and change the oil out if things start looking positive.
Was looking at generator today and decided to see if the engine was free so I took a long piece of flat stock and started gently to turn the crank on the gage panel and to my complete surprise it is not locked up. I moved it to 1:00 and back to 11:00 and back to 12:00. Then I started to spray...
I am trying to upload the pics on a server now, must be about 30 and it is more or less at a standstill. That is why I was offering to send individuals all the pics at one time or in several emails if their system won't take over ten MB at a time.
Not familiar with aircraft paint remover???? Where would one go about obtaining such? I have heard of paint thinner, lacquer thinner, and good old paint remover but not aircraft.
Can't get to it tomorrow, funeral to go to. Next day is iffy. I am awaiting word to come pick up a pair of 5200 lb axles I ordered for an equipment trailer I got a couple months back that had electric brakes that were slam worn out. Thusly I pulled a axle, took it to distributor, we measured...
I have Adobe Acrobat Reader and about 25 files down loaded on it but it didn't open these. I took about ten more pics this morning, lots of close ups of the engine, dip stick etc. If anyone would like to see them send me a PM and I will send you all I have made. I checked the dates on the...
I had another sentence but apparently it got cut off. There are so many more I am thinking it would not be appreciated if I posted them all. If you will send me a PM with email address I will send you everything I have taken.
Also the tire dates are 1964 both tires w/ equal wear so I am...
I just went out and took more pics and more detailed pics of this and that. Checked the dates of manufacture on the tires and both are 1964. Also removed dip stick and photographed the oil on it with no moisture apparent.
AZK9 the only thing I can open is the little book. I click on the yellow stuff and I get a white page and nothing happens?????
Is there something of choice to remove the paint with. I have a pressure washer I will get to eventually once I get the engine/generator off.
This is obviously front and back views. Did not take pic of the under carriage as it started to rain. you can see where the tongue goes into the front there is a quick release pull pin with a ball & spring retaining device.
