    Is this a M105a3 trailer

Old thread (I know) for posterity sake, yes bolt pattern is the same.

M105a3 trailer, ugly yes or no?

I just checked my lights on the A3 and they are 12 AND 24 volt, AWESOME, no need t ospend time and money t oconvert to civilian versions. NICE, FYI, Perhaps all are?? Ironwood

M105a3 trailer, ugly yes or no?

So, I got some 16.5" wheels off a 1061A1 and put them on the M105A3, the only modification needed will be a slight cutting of one of the bed channels that MIGHT hit the sidewall when the springs are fully compressed, so grinder and cutoff wheel and 20 minutes. FYI for the folks in the future who...

    105 trailer wheel adapter,HOW TO?

I retro'ed a new frrame under one of my M105's, I like the 6' x 9' bed much better than the 5' x 8' of an M101. I made it hydrualically dump too. LOW to the ground as well. Ironwood

Towing a M105 with my Chevy Suburban 1500

I agree, reasonable, loaded, would be a different matter. Ironwood

    M105A2 and M101A3

I use several 105's here for the exact same thing, I dump mine with a forklift and a ball and as a secondary attach the safety chains. They are very heavy when loaded and it can bend the tailgate if not removed. If your tractor is BIG it will work (without shovelling). For repetitive dumping I...

Indy, I might be able to use one of those if you want to part with one. Ironwood

    Found a Coleman Tug

OK, the TUG is mine. It is an industrial Chrysler 6, I have the good engine palletized and "oiled" down. The spare came out of a srcap yard crane from a guy that I know. He said it had very little hours since a rebuild. It is propane converted, the one in the TUG is gasoline, so you could choose...

M105a3 trailer, ugly yes or no?

I just picked one up, and I really like it. Jack stinks, but that is an easy fix. I will tear it apart, use the bed/tarp as "modular" unit on the back of my dually and the surge and frame will end up with a a 788 shelter on it. I will run a metric 8 bolt axle F-450/550 pattern to match my truck...

    Show us your Military Trailers

I converted a M105 body to a new dumping sub frame and an 8 bolt Torsion axle. I wanted it as low as possible to side load with my John Deere tractor. We use it all the time for camping, and Scout events, (sand for luminary build every year and fall cleanup at our host church). I also have...
