I have had the plugs out and tested direct from battery’s, but what I think is a possible problem is the feed to the glow plugs when in place. Hence me thinking control box or bad earths. any suggestions in testing plugs when in place.

Ok very good point, I guess I can run a earth wire wrapped around the glow plug to block to double check.

Ok so a update......pulled the solenoid and that’s fine, fuel pump chucks out lovely. So I moved on to glow plugs, when I first turn the wait switch it goes from negative to 24volts for give or takes 10secs then turns of etc. So when I then pull a glow plug out and turn the switch they are not...

Thanks for the heads up, appreciate it. I’ll check that power feed as soon as I can. At least solenoid is straight forward to replace if need be. I’ll just buy a new solenoid and not the whole top cover.

Hi all, so a update......turns out I went and spoke to the guy driving it and what happened is. It was sat ideling then when it went to pull away it cut out and was cranking but not starting......so I’m guessing fuel starvation or clogged filters? what do we all think? kyle

Thanks for the reply chaps. So if I’m not mistaken 10w is a hydraulic oil? also I can put 15w/40 engine oil in the gear box also?

Perfect just found it very helpful. Just to confirm it’s either 10w or 15w40 oil as stated in manual

Hi all, quick question as I haven’t got access to a manual. what quantity of oil do I put in to the transmission on a m923a2 transmission. I’m changing pan filter and external filter also. if anyone does have a link for a pdf manual that would be handy. all the best kyle
