Clark Parts out of deuce biz

When I asked him if Eastern Surplus picked up the parts, he said yes. I suppose I'll be going there to get a cab and bed swap some time in the spring. I can't seem to find a place closer to me. Clarks is 15 minutes away! :-( Apparently, they were indeed involved in a lawsuit pertaining to...

Clark Parts out of deuce biz

This morning I spoke to someone in the parts department at Clark Truck Parts in Poca, WV, hoping to get pricing on a bed and cab swap. They informed me that about a week ago they scrapped the deuces and five-tons from the salvage yard to a local scrapper and the rest of the parts went to PA. He...

    blinkers not working

I had the same thing happen to my flasher module. Would work for a while then when the truck heated up it would stop. Buy a new flasher. Sand any grounding connections and install new star washers.

I've attached the manual for the Air Lock Upgrade Kit. It has all the diagrams and instructions that you need to hook up everything.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Installed a dual rifle mount and by the luck of idiocy, managed to mangle up a geared lug wrench (later fixed).

    Very specific turn signal problem

I had intermittent problems with my signal flasher. Would work when stationary, but after a while, in motion, they would quit. I could leave it on and it would eventually come back on for a while, and then quit later. I replaced the solid state unit and ground the fender ground connection to...

Front Axle Engagement Air Pressure Switch - Replacement

I think Saturn has the whole kit-n-caboodle for $75. At least, I hope so, as I have one on the way to my front door. NSN 2520-00-113-8049 Saturn Surplus

    Front wheel drive switch

Hmm, this is one of the things I need to get done this summer. I verified that I have a Rockwell T 136 27 air shift transfer case but not the switch or any of the airlines and tees to connect it. I need to find an "airshift lockup kit".

    Deuce Shifting Questions

According to gimpyrobb, 1st and reverse are not synchronized in the deuce. Probably why I cannot downshift to 1st without double clutching (which I don't do regularly, but have attempted). If I'm at a full stop with the clutch out and in neutral, I find it quicker to shift to second, and while...
