What size tires are you running? I have the 9.00's, I was doing some searching and it looks like low in second gear would work. Any thoughts on that? I am thinking about pulling mine at a local pull soon. I will...
I am just over an hour away to the north. The duece will be at weinerfest at the Lakewood Pavilion today, in support of our veterans. There will be other MVs there today also, as well as alot of veterans, food, and beer. My avatar has the pic of the duece in it. You are more than welcome to...
I have no idea why there was so many MV's in the parade this year. We only had the few jeeps and m37 with the american legion in the past. The townships here are getting all kinds of x MV's. I have seen a 5 ton dump, huge generator on trailer, an A3 with the command center on back, an air...
I am on Hwy 32 north of mountain and Lakewood and south of laona and wabeno and carter. Thanks on the Truck it is just a couple months old to me. I will have more pics coming after this weekend parade in Lakewood.
This is a pic,more to come, of its first parade. It got alot of attention, with the little "soldiers " in back throwing candy. More pics to come as another parade is around the corner.
I just recovered my first Deuce yesterday. I checked all tires 9:00 - 20s for proper air at 50 psi all around. I was pulling an M105 that came with it, that came as a package deal. The trailer had 6 11:00 -20s with rims in back plus some other odd stuff. I drove 230 miles and used 20 gallons of...
The Search engine is not my friend, I can not come up with info. I am trying to see what a non turbo engine would need to put a whistler on. I found a non turbo m35a2. I would really like to have the whistler on it. Is there a kit or someone that knows, if a turbo can be put on. Thanks Tim
Thanks for the updates. I have been watching your progress. I can't wait until I have some green Iron in my yard. Keep the updates coming. Tim
:popcorn:
You would not happen to have a picture with the smaller tires on your truck? that way I can see the difference between tires to see what they look like and the difference.. thanks in advance. looking forward to pics. Tim
I found a deuce for sale less than 2 hours away that was stored in a shed(not its whole life I am sure) It has a soft top, and troop seats, says the motor runs good, and drives good. He thinks it is a '74 model. As for rust , a little surface rust here and there. no holes through.
Question=...
I wish my wife didn't already talk me into jumping outta the plane. I could have my first deuce in the yard now. lol She is coming around though, she knows how much I liked my jeep, The family of 5 +dog we just didn't fit, so it was sold. We can easily fit the family + in the deuce. Back to...
I do not have a MV yet. I got bit by the bug, I just cannot shake it. I am looking to purchase a m35a2. After looking through on SS, it seams the best is to find my first purchase from a private owner and not GL. I found a few around me, and I am researching to make a purchase.:beer:
