m35 multifuel timing mark line up

Question for the multifuel hive mind, I had to pull the hydraulic head to repair a stuck cutoff sleeve. My concern is this, to remove the hydraulic head i aligned the timing mark on the damper, and the white groove on the advance lined up also but i could not see the red tooth on the hydro head...

    m35a2 no start

An update, I worked on it today, got fuel out of the bleeder on the secondary filters. It started up but ran away, I pulled the fuel cutoff and dumped the clutch and got it shut down before I heared any "evil noises". Back to the drawing board. What are common culprits of runaway on a multifuel?

    m35a2 no start

I have lift pump pressure past the primary filter, but no pressure at the bleeder on the secondary filters. i can see the supply line goes into the bottom of the injector pump, then to the secondary filters? I am thinking of doing an FDC bypass, but i dont think that is why i have no fuel in the...

    deuce brakes

thanks for the input folk's, it's good to hear. i restore cars for a living, and we have had a lot of trouble with "new" brake parts that were usually made in china. i don't want those. i am looking for vendors that have good fresh brake parts, not chinese knock off stuff or 25 year old gov...

    deuce brakes

my truck is a 73. i dont think the hydraulic system has ever been overhauled. i like to be ahead of the game, and deal with things before they are a problem. how long will the airpack and wheel cyl. usually hold up? the brakes work fine now, but if they should be replaced just because of age...

    deuce rear axle seal

i've noticed some 90 wt. on the inside of the rear rim. i'm going to be swapping tires soon and this will be a good time to deal with this. have you found this to be just a seal change or something more serious? i'd like to have the parts on hand before i tear into it.

    water purification truck

i did go look at a cargo truck, just for comparison. 2500.00 truck, needs tires and brake work, heater, wipers, some guages non functional, fuel and oil leaks, lots of items "rigged" but still a good truck for the money. i have to ask myself, is a truck that has none of these issues a better value?

    water purification truck

i've got the price down to $7000.00, sounds a lot better to me. took another look at it today, made sure everything works, and it does. aside from some minor rust and a few cracking tires it's in fine shape.

    water purification truck

the asking price is $10.000, and it comes with an m105 trailer. the filtration equip. has been removed, but the fuel heater is functioning and the box is intact and functioning. the truck does have some rust issues(dont they all) but nothing serious. it is drivable and functional. it is my plan...

    water purification truck

im looking at makeing an m35 purchase. i found a m35 water purification truck, i like the way the cargo box is laid out. works perfect for what i need to use it for but its priced a bit higher than a standard cargo truck. are these units pretty rare to justify spending the extra money?
