When I asked my local Napa they said I couldn't even order it. If someone does still make it it might be pretty costly. Walmart sells the 30w non detergent cheap- at least 2 years ago- 75 cents a quart.

Thank you for the info- I deal with the GMC deuces but have a lot to learn. I have been using the crash course method-so far its working. It isn't easy though. rofl
I just thought I'd post some pictures of my 6x6 and my car(why not while I'm at it). The pictures are a couple months old. The only difference between now and then is the snow. The GMC is solid but definitely not pretty. It is mostly the color most old cars come in- rust. I finally found an...
Here are the pictures of the M135 rims that use 11x20s and allow you to run only 6 tires instead of 10. I am pretty sure these will also fit an M35 too. Right now they are still on the truck. They will be coming off as soon as I tow the truck home. I do have other parts from this truck but don't...
I took some pictures of the rims and motor as that seemed to be what some people were most interested in. Sorry I didn't take any pictures of the whole truck because I didn't think to. I bought this truck primarily for the fenders, radiatior, pto, and some cab parts. Possibly the trans also...
Thanks for the information everyone. From what it sounds my truck fits the expirimental category. The only thing is that she is an 1954 XM215 with a serial # (on the data plate) of 4281(something like that). Did GMC make any m215s after 54? Or is it possible they just had a short run of dumps in...
My Xm215 also shifts abruptly. It has been off the road a year and I can't remember at which speeds she did it. However, mine still has the oil in the trans. I have always allowed her to warm up- especially in the winter. I changed it before I drove her over 200 miles home. I had absolutely no...
If anyone is interested I found an 1952 M135 in the in the Saratoga Springs/ Glens Falls area. It has the single wheels. and the bed (not bad). Does have the single wheels(not dually), spare tire bracket, the metal brackets for top of bed and troop seats- (wood is all rotted) and a number of...
Last year I saw someone selling one of those GMC 6x6 cranes someone mentioned. It was $2000 . It seemed to be in decent condition. Here is the catch it was buyer transports- from Vancouver Island- I think. BC, Canada. It was ferried over at somepoint.
