Thanks for the info...What does the main power feed for tthe 12v system in the truck hook up too?

Have a 1986 CUCV Blazer. Cable coming from blue to red running along firewall has to have power to power vehicle. When I hook it up to battery post the horn blows. It can blow very loud depending on battery post that I hook it up too. What doesthis cable hook up to?

It's bad...tried to clean it. Just need a part number. OrEILLY can't figure it out.

Replaced a bad alternator with a new one. CUCV started and ran at idle for 10 minutes. Killed the engine and then attempted to start. Starter turned over and engine would not fire. Engine typically starts fine. I replaced fuel filter which I have done many times with no issue. Wouldn't start...

UNREAL! Warthog and others are the absolute BEST!

Mine stays on all the time. You can kill the engine, restart and it goes to low. You can unplug the green wire from it and it will go to low. The sensor must be bad like theprevious poster referred to. I went to Auto Zone and they did not show one for that vehicle.

I can unplug it and it stops. It isstill getting power when it shouldn't. Whats the fix?

I have a 86 CUCV that runs good most of the time. When I start it from a cold start, the high idle kicks on but will not shift to low idle after warm up. I can kill the engine and restart, then it goes to low idle. Pleasse help a rookie! thanks in advance for your patience and support.:)
