Replaced a bad alternator with a new one. CUCV started and ran at idle for 10 minutes. Killed the engine and then attempted to start. Starter turned over and engine would not fire. Engine typically starts fine. I replaced fuel filter which I have done many times with no issue. Wouldn't start. Replaced overflow hose with tygon tubing. It filled up with fuel. Removed ejector line. No fuel flowed when starter was turning over. Could it be some kind of electrical problem with pump??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check for voltage at the pink wire on top of the IP. Do this with the key in the run position. If you have voltage, remove and reinstall the wire, listen for the audible clunk of the solenoid.

Fix the relay under the top cover of the IP. It may be bad or just need to have the contacts cleaned

It is listed in the TM 9-2320-289-34P parts manual, figure 15, item #23. I just posted this for you in your other thread just 30 minutes ago.

You more than likely will not find it at a local parts house. A Stanadyne dealer or a diesel injector pump repair shop should have it.
