Has anyone ever experienced axle wind up from tires that aren’t exactly the same tread depth? I guess I’m not sure if that ever a problem with these trucks? I thought perhaps one should remove that rear drive shaft and run it with the forward rear axle?

The shielded plug wires don’t allow the typical timing light clip to be used. I think that’s why they made an adapter.

Hello all. Just fired up the GMC for the first time in forever. Runs excellent, but I want to run a timing light on it to get it dialed in properly. I’ve read there is an adapter to connect the light to #1 wire. How are others timing their trucks?
