I didn't see any when I looked before, but ill take another look at the tires...

It was parked on dirt before and is now.. The thump sounds very "Mechanical". it also does this sound at all speeds, on any surface. Ill take another look at the tires...

Yea replaced the water pump... one thing.. dont over tighten the belt.. will lead to premature water pump failure.

This M923 has sat for about a year. When we bought it, it had sat longer, but got it started, freed the brakes and drove it home... ran great... now when we go to move it.. it has a noticeable "THUMP, THUMP, THUMP" when rolling... it gets faster as we go, but not at the same speed as the drive...

Looking at the HMMWV manual they show pictures of how to tow a HMMWV from the front and rear. While the front lift photo is obvious, its not so obvious for the rear. So below is the front lift schenario, where the shackles go on the HMMWV and the tow bar lunette to the M936.. However...

Got a better look at this issue, it's leaking from around the shaft, not around the perimeter of the pump. Also it pours out as fast as I can fill it.

I recently changed all the belts on our m936 wrecker. This truck doesn't get tons of use but is started every other day or so. Today we used it to flat tow an m1085 LMTV about 2 miles to a storage yard (I know it's undesirable to flat tow the lmtv) when we got there the water pump on the 936...
