But seriously, if that is a engine, transmission, or axle vent, just get a hose long enough to drape over the engine, or get a covered vent looks like (cant think of name, sue me. I'm a bit past driving legally...)

I hate to sound this way, but I wonder how hard a good solid redesign of the part as a whole would be? I am not saying that lifts should be abandoned.... But the arm was bent by a stationary tyre? Slow speed OK. but trying to change the direction of a 500 lb gyro?

Well, it is for the most part the same engine. :) The eclipse is a fat little car. Liked the one I rented, but the thing weighs 1.5 neons. :shock:

Yes, in all of my experiences, the 1/4 ton truck has always been called a 'jeep' regardless of year or manufacture be it a Willys, a Ford, a Death Jeep, Etc., always 'jeep.' Only on paper had I ever seen it referred to as a MUTT.
