    Show us your Military Trailers

Stevens Mfg. M762, delivery date 6/67 USA Towed with the F350 at the moment. Hopefully soon it will ride behind a M1008. Shown yesterday (6/20/2010) not long after getting it home.

    Finally got my first MV

I'd forgotten how tough this crowd was during my hiatus  In the last picture, what is the thing on top of the tail light? Blackout light?

    Finally got my first MV

***Now with pictures*** ... sort of. It's a 1964 M762 trailer. I picked it up this morning from a local guy who had it on Craigslist. From what I can tell it's almost all original, even both tail lights are still there and unmolested. I think it belonged to the Marine Corps, and doesn't appear...

    Help (SOS) for flyusn99

Anyone know how Jay is doing this morning? I saw he said something about a car, should the need for a 4x4 truck that is faster than a deuce arise, I volunteer me and my civy 1 ton. It'd take me a couple hours to be onto 95, but it can be done. FWIW my cell is 910 470 2 seven seven 1.

    What the...........?

I ducked when I saw that winch leader set up. I guess there is no substitute for ignorance.

    My Big Ride

I think digital print would look kinda cool inside. Not the entire thing of course, just some of it. And a Cummins for the powerplant [thumbzup]. I like it.

    Optima Battery - Which One?

Keith_J makes a good point. I would like to point out though, in defense of Optimas, that they consider the Red tops starting/cranking batteries and the Yellow tops are deep cycle. That being said, i've had the same 2 red tops in my 7.3 for 2 years and have never had a problem, and I have a...

Uber rare deuce shop truck BACK ON EBAY

Am I the only one who noticed the giant puddle under the radiator area? Is it a rain puddle, or a truck puddle?

It looks like a 5 ton....

Find out some more about it. I'd be interested to know if it's for sale or what the deal with it is.

Motor City Motors - another Deuce on TV

Stuff like that makes me not miss cable, although I do wish it would show up on Hulu or something so I could see just how bad it is (never seen it). I've always had a higher opinion of Discovery than that.

    I Got My M1009 Stuck

That isn't too bad at all. I would imagine an M1009 is about as hard on tires as a one ton civy truck. Thanks [thumbzup]

    I Got My M1009 Stuck

I'd like to know how the tires hold up over time, they're one of the ones in contention for my 1 ton. And don't even mess with a 10k tow rope, you'll just make it mad. If it's not rated for more than 20 or 25k, it isn't even worth messing with. 2cents

Why short an aready short truck

People bob them because they paid for it, and they are entitled to do what they wish with it. That being said, I would never bob one because I work my vehicles doing what they were designed to do, and the Deuce is more appropriate in it's 10 wheeled form. I don't consider myself a purist by any...

    not your average m38 build

    That's awsome. [thumbzup]:driver:

    What happened to my mileage?

Sounds like injectors to me too.
