Well, we tested the glow plugs with an Ohm-meter, and they read 1 Ohm, which would indicate that they are good. Something else is causing this.

Well fellas, I have quite a dilemma. The rig will not easily start on her own without help from a tiny shot of ether. Till it gets the shot, it cranks and cranks and puffs white smoke, but wont fire. After the tiny shot, it runs fine and starts fine until it cools down. We are thinking it has...
That's also what I thought, so today, I took the old starter out, and put the nearly new one out of the parts Blazer in. It still did the same thing, so I am hoping its my batteries.

Hey guys. I have quite a dilemma with the ole M1009. She has been progressively getting harder to start. Now she hardly turns over at all; very very slowly. Not nearly fast enough to even think about starting the engine. First, we thought it was the batteries, tested them and they were both spot...
I have been slaving for several hour on this shock. There is very little space between the mount and the fuel tank, the mount and the bed floor, and the mount and the exhaust. I am open to any and all suggestion for how to go about getting this one off. I have tried an impact gun, 1/2 inch drive...

Well, I have bad news.... I tested them all, and they all were bad. To top it off.... three are mushroomed. Two on the passengers side, and one on the drivers. It turns out that the plugs were mixed... 13g's and 60g's. When the previous owner said he changed the glow plugs, he must have only...
Thanks for the info guys. I will use the rag trick from now on. That sounds a lot better then spraying it in the intake. I will check the plugs again tomorrow. We checked them two weekends ago. What do you recommend I replace the glow plugs with? We have a full set of 60g's in the garage, which...
