Planning 1200 Mile Recovery MN to NC

Turn her south and drive. Anything that happens can be bought on the way. I've driven 12 from WI to Devon, AB. Worst thing that happened is an air drier froze in Feb. Never trust the fuel gauge and drive by mileage, I fill every 350 mi. It's a nice drive going slow and checking out the...

Paint was Blair Jones from nisku coatings. When I ordered the paint they mix it and will put part of the gallons they mix into aerosol so i have spare for touch ups.

    soft straight line camo

I thought so too. But that's the nato pattern. Next time I would switch the brown and black. You don't notice the black as much when the base is green.

    Dually centers on HEMTT rims

No the pipe is welded on the outer wheel with the center moved out. Like making a dually wheel out of a fmtv or combat wheel. Still two centers bolted to the hub.

    Dually centers on HEMTT rims

got them to work. Overall width of the truck is not that wide as compared to the tank. Didn't have a tape measure but no where near as wide as a 812/945. I would hazard a guess at 9'. There was about 2" each side sticking out past wheel fenders on the rear. Large wheel gap which could...

    Dually centers on HEMTT rims

The picture of the dual gap wouldn't upload. The inside rears are the same as the front, and the outer is re-centered with a piece of pipe. You might get away with a FMTV wheel inboard and a bridge truck wheel outboard.

    What civilian batteries to use?

Two group 27 and two group 27r. You can reuse all the battery cables.
