Steel Soldiers MV of the month 2015 - Decemeber VOTE HERE

Our halftrack project has been a work in process for 10 years with on only a handful of details remaining to be completed. What started out as a worn out stripped chassis has slowly come together by acquiring all the various pieces parts. Basically, this was the only way we could ever afford...

    Haltrack and MRAP

Matt, I actually had the halftrack out for a spin this afternoon, it does ride rough especially when empty. It smooth's out when loaded up with riders. The noise from the floor plates, ammo locker shelves and lids is the most noticeable thing, everything is tight, but they really rattle. I was...

    SC - Wigington Salvage

Mr. Wiginton is a great old fella. Visited with him about 10 or 12 years ago when he had NOS complete windshield assemblies for M211 trucks. If I remember they were $150 and still in the boxes, I got the last one. When asking him about other parts, he drove me to various buildings and directed...

    Rear lug nut removal question.

Any chance the entire hub assembly could have been reversed? Maybe a RH hub ended up on the drivers side, look for the L & R on the square ends of the bud thimble thingy's. .

Actually, I never saw the donor vehicle. Was told they came off of a M916 being used by a lumber company.

    M916 wheels on M813

Hello All, We just brought home a set of wheels (2 pc. bolt together combat style) and tires (1400 x 20s) off of a M916. My question is if the wheel offset on the M916 is the same as those used on the supper single wheels found on the M813. Currently we are running 1400 x 20s mounted on Hemitt...
