    Hauling firewood in the 925

That is one of my truck's jobs as well...

    Anyone running a front locker?

I was also wondering if the "spool" unit sold on the website I posted would be suitable for use and strong enough for my truck, which spends 90% of its time off road. With 2 of these in the drives, and a locker in front, the trucks off road performance would be awesome!

    Anyone running a front locker?

I thought that it was locked while under power. That is why a locker equipped vehicle resists the steering while cornering while on the throttle. If you corner while coasting, this doesn't happen. Not a good idea to pull a trailer on a slippery, curvy road with a locker equipped truck.

redbarncustoms.net They look like they have everything you will need to add the lockers to your truck.

    Recentered HEMTT wheel install

I just used the instructions in this post to mount a 14:00 tire on a HEMTT wheel after removing a nail from the tire. It worked beautifully! Thank you for the great information! It sure made the job easier!

Duel fuel line mod M818 855 cummins

Ha! I heard about that trick from a guy that drove for my Co. before he retired. He couldn't stand the DOT anymore, not to mention what he called the "New Breed" of drivers.

Duel fuel line mod M818 855 cummins

That, and the opinion of 73M-819 is the reason that I decided not to do the mod. My truck has enough power to do what I need it for anyway. I pulled a 46k fertilizer spreader that was buried to the frame in mud out. This was going uphill through 6" of mud, so it works fine as is in my opinion.

pics of m923 with oversize super singles?

That is how my truck is. It has 14:00s on it now, but 16:00s are coming soon. I know of other trucks that were done like this with the 16s and they have no bed clearance issues, even under the extreme off road conditions that they operate in.

More Power From NHC 250 in M939 Series Trucks With Allison Transmissions

How did this turn out? Did you do the "dual fuel line mod" as well? I am planning on doing both of these mods, and I'd like to know what other's results were. Thanks!

    Mo. rally?

That would be cool! Not far from me at all!

    Tire chains

I put 3-rails on the duals, and chain up the steers. With 1500 lbs of wood in the bed, my deuce runs through as much snow as we ever get here, no problem.

Stock Rims and bigger tires? what combo?

Here is a pic I found of an M818 with dual 14:00s I would like to do that to mine.

Stock Rims and bigger tires? what combo?

There is a guy here in MO that does the exact same thing with his trucks. Without a second thought, he drives through stuff that I would be hesitant to drive a log skidder through. Truly a testament to the toughness and durability of these trucks! He used to run the 14:00s, but had issues with...

My first 5 ton melt down

Nice winch! Working on the winch install on my 818 now. Mine doesn't have the level wind though.
