Have m998 that has this marking written on the bottom cover of the transmission.
Know the work was done 9/14 which should put it military service. Any thoughts of what that funky symbol means.

The three layers front layer you remove to put in place on the body. The back layer you remove leaving the stencil on the body. Mask the stencil and spray the exposed area the after you remove the stencil and you have the painted letters on the body
I've got a cutter myself and been making stencils. Just a footnote: If making a stencil with a cutter using normal vinyl and just reversing the vinyl removal (reversing it) you will probably encounter a problem removing the stencil once applied as it will take the vehicle paint with it...

Looking for my Hmmwv history from the bumper numbers. The rights side is easy (only painted once) which is "HQ 107" 1.5 inches letters. (Headquarters' 107th vehicle)
The right side appears to be painted twice ( one 1.5 lettering one 3/4 " lettering)

I also put in a relay so that when my headlights are turned on high the auxiliary lights come on (for driving back roads) and when I dim my lights my aux. lights go off automatically. Then I added a toggle switch that take out the relay so the high low works normal...
Those are exactly what I'm trying to do.
My questions would be:
Are those ones flush mounted? (little to bright to see)
How many watts?
Does the light strength work for you (bright enough)?
Where did you locate them?
Saw some 3 1/2 flush on ebay but only 24 w each.
