Repair holes in body.....(I know they add character or attach original mounts). What have others done to cover/repair antenna drill holes on the hmmwv body? I have read through 54 pages on this area and have not come up with anything besides bondo.

if you have a clock or some other electronic device, you can wire a jumper across the cut off with a small 5 amp fuse, it will keep the clock going, however if someone were to attempt to start, it would blow the fuse, and kill the truck.
check the harness connection at the left front corner. mine was doing the same, connection was loose. cleaned, dielectric grease and has been good to go since.
So just as anything else, fix one, break one. Havery been servicing the truck and made a quick trip to lowes for some household stuff. Enroute the speedometer takes a crap. Found out it was the drive key pt 30448D. Which was easy enough to find and order....problem is the gear 35 tooth is...
Mine is the same on the left. right is: I 28 NBC 10. The right front is 28 55 BCT hope this helps. It is a PA National Guard Truck. as stated before google the numbers with US ARMY and you will get most of the information.
I have this same one. 242. i did drive it a couple miles and checked again, added a little less than 1/2 quart. so im sitting at 2.5 quart now. I believe that is all she will hold.
It was full when drained, I failed to check how much I got out, as I also serviced the transmission at the same time. Never really thought about it till the oil was disposed of and went tobrefill. Truck is level, filled till it came out the hole. Will take it for a short drive and recheck...
I have a NP 242 transfer case. today i was servicing it, drained the fluid and according to the TM was supposed to add 3.5 qt of dextron III. I could not get more than 2 quarts in the case. What am i missing with this? I did fail to measure how much came out as a very small amount came out...
