Can someone please give me the relevant dimensions of the bed on the M1008? K30? I know they're the same. What are the dimensions at the opening that the tailgate sits in, the distance between bed rails-anything that could help me. I can't get to my truck to measure it myself.

I believe it may be a dead end. I called a truck accessory supplier and they said it probably won't fit on account of the bed being tapered (narrower at the tailgate) than the 73-87 bed (being square throughout).

The truck it came off of was a 1995. That help?

These are probably originals. So, jack the truck up, put it on jack stands, lock the hubs, and turn the tires around? Should I spin the front tires while turning the wheel side to side?? Is that right? Turning them with the tires straight may not feel much, no?
