Can't get my M1028 to run...

My rear main seal is leaking as well, so I'll probably just have a buddy help take the engine out and go from there. If he's not up to it (which is most likely the case) I'll just save up :/ i'd love to tackle the job myself but without a proper workspace, and a lack of that ever so precious...

Can't get my M1028 to run...

Yeah, none of the connections on my batteries are tightened down. I didn't think it mattered as long as it was making a connection. Guess I'll try again, but use a wrench this time lol.

Can't get my M1028 to run...

I'll charge the batteries up and then do a load test. By the way, not sure what this is indicative of, but occasionally when starting, I will hear an extremely loud screeching noise, until I back off the starter. Go to start up again and she will engage. I had one person tell me it's catching a...

Can't get my M1028 to run...

I'm going to keep it mechanical for right now. What are the symptoms associated with a bad lift pump?

Can't get my M1028 to run...

What problems could be caused by a bad lift pump? After some research it sounds like this could be the culprit. If it is indeed a bad lift pump, do I need a pump specific to the military 6.2s or will any do? Does anybody have a good one they would sell?
