Finished putting the engine in the 816 last week and started it up. Took it for a short drive around the yard and when I pulled back up on the concrete it was pouring oil on the ground. After a little inspection found out it was power steering oil. One of the steel lines running across the frame...
One of my 816s drip from the same place while running. What style pump do you have the one with the secondary governor bolted on top or the one that has the secondary governor made into the main body of the pump?
I was told by an injector shop that a single governor pump can't have a secondary governor added to it but now I'm not sure that 100% accurate. My 816 had a fuel leak from the pump when I got it but only when the crane drive was engaged. I had just had a pump built for the 816 I was putting back...
