Thanks for that. I'll shop for a bench power supply. I'm sure I would have other uses for it as I maintain 2 small tractors and a bunch of other equipment. It looks like the Facet brand pump runs $80-120 but I can get an off brand for $40. any reason not to get the off brand?

What is the best way to test a 24v pump out of the generator? Get 2 batteries? Get a 24v battery? Also, just browsing in case I need to buy a new pump it likes like they start at about $80. Weren't they really cheap at one time?

Sorry about that. It wasn't solved, I just didn't get to it. I will disconnect the AUX fuel pump and try. I have decided not to use AUX fuel as I don't use the generator enough to store a lot of fuel. I also don't really have much else that uses diesel fuel either. Thanks for your help so...

Hello, it throws the cb1 breaker. I have not tested the pump itself. This only happens when the fuel line is connected. When fuel line is connected to fuel drum it trips the breaker. When fuel line is not connected the aux pump will run when set to prime.

I think so. Not totally sure. I took the float out and tested it's function while my wife started the gen. After that I was sure the float was ok. Reinstalled the float and made sure it seemed to have good clearance. Now all is good.
