I use a Promite it is 24v hooks up to both the battery's it is made for boats so it is completely sealed I just leave it hooked up all the time
works great
battery equalizer are great but $200.00 compared to $12.00 for the converter
if you are running a lot of 12v stuff get the equalizer but for the few things he wants to run I think the converter is the best for the money
I use these they are 30amp and have a Memory wire to save your settings
New Car Power Supply Convert Devicer DC 24V to 12V - eBay (item 270545843842 end time Apr-11-10 12:09:01 PDT)
lol you have to be joking its a auction
he was willing to pay more and maybe he wanted all of them and if you want one you have to pony up the money to beat him out
maybe one day UNICEF will get into the MV business
but until then GL and there auction are what you get
I tell you what I can...
I don't think anything they are doing is a bad job just some things are weird like air bags take little air so a extra tank would be all that is needed and if you wanted to add a electric compressor why use a 12v when most company's make the same thing in 24v
overall I like Ian's Truck
It is...
I agree there is no need for the second compressor a one way check valve and a regulator if needed
I do have a 24v Electric Air compressor as a back up on my truck but its not really needed
