    Coolant problem need help

    Check your oil to make sure there's no coolant in it. Sounds like what juanprado said.

    All these questions have been answered in the forum, just takes time to look through all the posts. The bottom line is the deuce is a tactical vehicle designed in the 1950's. It obviously has done a great job because the military kept using it soooooo long! My deuce was is service for 39...

    Agree with DH. I've had my 932 for two years and had to replace the batteries due to poor starting in cold weather. I went with 4x6TL batteries. It turns over great and starts even in cold weather now. The NHC250 needs the CCA to get started when its cold. The 4x6TL's will put out around 3200...

    m939 Heater Core

    I had a leaking m939 core as well. The 809 series trucks use a slightly different core and I couldn't find any nos parts. I also ended up having a radiator shop repair mine. 2 years later it still works fine.

    Finally got our Deuce!

    Welcome to the club ! They are definitely a labor of love. Give it time and you'll be happy with your truck and all the mods. It took me two years to get my deuce the way I wanted it.

    The protection control box has relays that work in conjunction with the alternator. I recently replaced my alternator because of low output and the loss adjustability. I received two military replacements one for a deuce with a 3 wire hookup, not correct, and the other a used takeoff for a 939...

    Check your fluid level as well.

    If you look at the very first picture you can see a brown line running down the last 1/3 of the bed. That is where I took the 3 feet out. I used a deuce bed.
