I reserve judgement until I see how stuck. Lower the tire air pressure. straighten the wheels.
Remember the cardinal rule: It is much easier to get a running truck unstuck than a broken one.
Anybody have complaints about the chinese copies of this pump? I ordered off fleabay as seller offers $58/ delivered. Replacing this pump will be much cheaper than changing my priming thumb or starter.
Any other tips to make this change go smoother?

Solenoid retracts when the oil pressure builds, I believe. Just unscrew it and crank the engine to verify operation.
I haven't loaded a container yet, but will fool with the roller guides when I do. Your description does sound plausible.

Nice writeup on the disconnect switch. Next time you need to two-hand the nuts (yes, i actually typed that) use vicegrips instead of combo wrench.
