Left right weight distribution / CG

Exactly what I was thinking. Batteries on the left. Spare tire and fuel tank on the right. I’m sure it’s fairly even. Maybe?

Left right weight distribution / CG

I’m probably way over thinking this but I’m going to be mounting a 250 pound crane with electric winch. Easiest spot would be drivers side, front corner of the bed right above the batteries. Is the truck already heavier on the left due to the batteries and driver? If I mount it on the drivers...

I’ll dig into the manual but given your expertise, can you direct me to where I find the flasher assembly?

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

Ok like usual, work gets in the way of important things like tinkering with a military truck but I did test brake lights this morning. The brake lights work while at the same time the hazards and blinkers do not.

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

Thanks a million. I’m away from the truck today but can start trouble shooting tomorrow. First thing will be to confirm brake lights.

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

Ypu might hate this reply for it’s noob lack of specificity but during initial trouble shooting “the” relays related to the hazards were blinking green during each attempted hazard flash. So it seemed I was getting power there. I replaced those relays and the green “relay” lights still blink. A...

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

Nope. They are clearly both failing together. If they aren’t working I’ll usually put the hazards on so if they start working I’ll see the hazard flashing on screen.

    Intermittent Turn Blinkers & Hazards

2003 A1 I’m stumped. Some days they work, some Days they don’t. I’ve replaced relays. Any thoughts?

Mechanic in Houston and an cab air bag question

Can't thank you guys enough. Not knowing the answer myself, I had asked my mechanic about the parts separating and he said it was impossible. Seems I need a new mechanic more than anything else. So the "male" center portion with the single bolt and nut is the shock?

Mechanic in Houston and an cab air bag question

Thanks in advance. Attached are pics of the original and the new. Seems the issue is the red circled “male” protrusion woth bolt and nut circled in red. The new bags have nothing inside.
