    Doghead dilemma

Concerning the fusible links under the 24V BUSS bar, what would I replace them with? Can I do an in-line fuse (if so what amp?) or do I need to find a setup like what is on it? Are all of the black canister looking fusible links the same amperage? Electrical is not my strong point at all!!

    Runaway

I have a real nice take out that had about 700 hrs on it when I swapped it out. Only thing missing is the alternator. I did a lot of maintenance stuff like updated head gaskets, rebuilt injectors and turbo before I pulled it. Only reason I swapped it was I got bored one weekend and had never...

    Axle Boots measurements

I’ll Be interested in a pair. My boots are lasting about 6-8 months before dry rotting. The climate is great for metal but a death sentence for rubber! All I can say is I have gotten very good at putting boots on over the years, but would happily never have to do it again!

M35A2 military conversion to diesel only?

Bypass it. You’ll save your self a headache and maybe a wallet-ache down the rd. It’s easy to do and you’ll n ever know the difference.... unless you’re filling up straight from an oil well on the Permian basin.

M35A2 military conversion to diesel only?

Detrimental consequences, no. The FDC only regulates the fuel delivery based on the viscosity of the fuel. The LDT/LDS multifuels will burn and run on most anything because of two main features; the hypercycle design and high compression ratio ( there are more than two, but these are the most...

    1967 M35A2 Brake issues

First off, make sure you have fluid in the MC. Secondly, do you have the fluid side switch or air side switch? If you have the fluid side switch on the front of the air pack, you need to bleed the airpack after installing the new switch. If you bled at the wheel cylinders already then start at...

    Oil cooler

Having taken this apart before, it’s not that bad. You’ll need two gaskets. One for the “access cover” to oil cooler and one for the oil cooler to the oil to cooler “housing”. You will have some spillage of both oil and coolant, have a bucket or big drain on ready to catch what you can...

    radiator

I agree with getting it fixed. I bought a truck that had about a 2” hole in the radiator, also from a branch. Had the radiator shop solder the affected tubes shut and ran it. Hauled quite a few full bed loads of wet firewood with a full M105 in tow through the mountains and never got warm.
