Hello,

I recently replaced the rear brake light switch. After that was done, I lost brakes. Had brakes before replacing switch. I have tried manually bleeding them. The pedal goes straight to the floor.

About a year ago, I replaced the master cylinder and power boosted. I manually bled the system and that worked fine.

Could a bad brake light switch cause air to get into the lines? Not sure what else to do?

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks

First off, make sure you have fluid in the MC. Secondly, do you have the fluid side switch or air side switch?

If you have the fluid side switch on the front of the air pack, you need to bleed the airpack after installing the new switch. If you bled at the wheel cylinders already then start at the air pack and bleed back to each wheel cylinder.
